Quick short sharp circuit breaker before Xmas? 05:49 - Nov 30 with 2557 viewssolomon

Does anyone think a short stay at home circuit breaker would be beneficial in the run up to Christmas? Be interested to know what those who are employed within healthcare on here think.

So thats Ireland, Scotland and Wales with restrictions, yet good old England, just carry on infecting everyone. Good old Boris.

Circuit breakers don’t work. When Wales tried a circuit breaker lockdown in October last year they saw a 45% increase in infections. They were soon back into a full lockdown.

Similarly the Scottish Government introduced a circuit breaker in later November last year. We came out of the circuit breaker for just ten days and then went into a four month lockdown.

It’s either a full lengthy lockdown, which has been proven to work, or nothing.

The Welsh one worked as it brought cases down during it and in the week after. It was the re-mixing afterwards and especially the mixing in schools that was the problem.
