I disagree with you over the decision. He has been given plenty of chance and too much has not sat well. He seems a nice bloke and I wish him well but we need more than he has offered us.
You are right, we are back to square one. However, square one is better than moving further backwards.

It’s a shame it didn’t work out. Fans have every right to expect to win every game, but it’s the entitlement that frustrates me the most, ‘we’re Ipswich Town, we shouldn’t be drawing with League 2 opposition’ ‘we’re gonna p!ss the league’ ‘HMS P!ss the League’ etc. We have as much right to be in League 1 as the other 23 teams. We have to earn the right to be promoted which we haven’t and some parts of our fan base need to realise that. I steward down there, and hear it all throughout the game. He really didn't. Could argue he deserved a few more games but post Wycombe rather than kick on we've fallen flat. He's been incredibly well backed but hadn't delivered here at all. |
Perfect time to get rid, a new manager could potentially turn the whole season round, 11 points off top not even half way through the season, and your first home game 28,000 fans, cook wasn’t good enough, there wasn’t the slightest glimmer it was going to improve.. why throw a season down the drain. |  | | |
