You've an odd way of spelling Rich Tea. The true king of biscuits.

I'm with you, they might not survive a dunking but they're bloody nice.

When you have a cup of tea sitting in front of you and a biscuit and don't have an overwhelming urge to dunk...

You may as well just give up on life.

Of course not! Never! Oh the heresy of it. The side plate was invented for said biscuit (as was the arm of the chair), the ITFC or Bomber Command mug of tea snugly along side and never the twain shall meet. It is as natural as the feeling sick when you see a Norwich City shirt.

Do you atleast have a bit of tea and a bit of biscuit in your mouth at the same time? Tea is not a biscuit chaser.

It has been known, to be honest, but by and large no. The oral porridge effect doesn’t really do it for me (I suspect I’ll get a battering for that phrase!). One, then the other in order, repeat, is the way forward.

At this point I am running out of animated Arnold Schwarzenegger gifs to convey my adverse emotional reaction to your stunted enjoyment of biscuits.

I think Rich Tea manage a ‘not too bad’, but are always going to fall short of the magnificent biscuit for all seasons Digestive and especially the Biscoff.

None of the above dunked, obviously - as we have all agreed!

This may throw another spanner in the works but as a youth my family used to enjoy dunking bread and jam in lovely sweet cups of tea. Thickly butter a slice of cheap, crap bread, apply jam liberally and cut into soldiers. Delightful.

Now, that was a true test of one's dunking abilities.

Not for me. Too sweet - says the lover of the chocolate bourbon.

Was going to say shortbread but I also used to love those round all butter biscuits.

Those are great with tea.

Dunked.

You can't go around putting Jacobs cheddars in your tea.

Of course not. Only a madman would engage in such a heinous crime. To be eaten before and after separately, like all good biscuit mangling.

I think this could be as divisive for TWTD as any manager choice, playing style debate, etc, etc....

I had a cup of tea in bed this morning and lost half a chocolate digestive in the cup.

In the past i would have fished it out and ended up drinking a mouthful of biscuit sludge near the bottom of the cup.

Experience had taught me so i got up and made a fresh one instead.

The end.

Thoughts and prayers.
