So, what you're saying is that flexibility with tactics and formation is a GOOD thing?

Ok, we improved marginally after Norwood came on, however we stole a point today, helped by the fact Wigan weren’t really on it! [Post edited 11 Dec 2021 18:03]

Managers have a point when they say people get too obsessed with formations. Many other factors influence the result apart from the formation.

Agreed, think our recent poor result has more to do several key players being missing, off form, poor confidence etc! I’m sad enough to sometimes read comments from opponents press and fans forums after matches. Believe me…this narrative on TWTD that Cook was lacking tactically wasn’t usually backed up comments from the other side of the fence! For example the Oxford journos all thought Cook outwitted Karl Robinson tactically even though we didn’t win!
