What are view on drug driving?

I wasn't trying to be facetious by the way, it's just that seeing that cannabis takes ages to become undetected and now everyone is getting drug tested when stopped I can't see many drivers on the road in a few years! Mind you, whilst I am anti drink driving I think your suggested punishment is a tad harsh - especially as you can never really know how much someone has had to drink. I always treat the limit as 1.5 pints - although to be honest I can't remember the last time I even had a half a pint and drove. Plod acquaintance I know though reckons because of my size etc I could drink 6 pints before I went over the limit. I think the limits and penalties are about right - but Katie Price should have got at least two years.

I didn’t think you were being facetious at all. This may well sound harsh but I don’t understand why anyone would actually drink alcohol when they know full well that they are driving. Most people wouldn’t drink if they were to use heavy dangerous machinery - do what’s the difference when driving a car? Alcohol hinders driving and so I feel that the penalties should be harsh.
Katie Price - wow on 11:54 - Dec 16 with 535 views | Clapham_Junction | I don't understand why people like this aren't simply given a lifetime driving ban. There was a person recently convicted of deliberately running over a cyclist and they got a three year ban (after their prison sentence ends). Why should they ever be allowed to drive a car again?? Hold up! Are you suggesting some sort of equivalency between spitting on a car and attempted murder?

FFS! Take it in the way that offends you the most if that's the order of the day. It used to be fun on here.

Keep your hair on, I'm not offended in the slightest, just questioning the light-hearted approach to attempting to kill someone.
