They are just about the best full back pairing to ever grace English football, the two current Liverpool lads come close.

The guy was an amazing full back
Both were brilliant in their own rights but I honestly think looking back now Burley was ahead of his time with his athleticism and overlaps - never stopped bloody running

Its easy to forget just how good they were and how incredibly lucky we were to see such a team, and an Ipswich at that!!
A lot of credit has too go to Sir John for creating the atmosphere and allowing Bobby Robson the freedom to build his teams
