In my view our tactics were found to be wrong on saturday. We were playing short out of defence when Bolton were quickly closing us down and that is why mistakes happened.

He was infuriating on Saturday. Couldn't work out a way past his man (he was thoroughly outplayed by the guy with the afro, can't remember his name) and the amount of times he just passed the ball out of play left me tearing my hair out.
I think we need another option there, as Coulsen has proven he's decent when fit, but not fit often enough. If we could get a permanent signing, and someone who is comfortable both at LB and LWB, that would be the dream. |
I'm not really sure about Coulsen proving he is decent. He didn't stand out for me in the five matches he's started, four of which he was substituted in, and in the one he played the whole match we conceded five goals. | | | |

I sense a bit of criticism in the OP but truth be told, every team, even Man City, have a weakest link! Someone has to be the worst player in any team. Penney might be that player for us, but he’s a fair bit better than many we’ve had on our books for the last few years. I say that we get on a support them rather than looking for a scape goat all the time. |  |
