Form table 22:03 - Jan 22 with 1451 views | Vic | Interesting seeing what’s happened over the last few games. Over 10 games we’re down at 14th Over 8 we’re 6th Over 6 we’re 5th Over 4 we’re 3rd Small sample, but suggests we’re going in the right direction. Might not be quick enough for this season but ....!

Form table on 22:14 - Jan 22 with 1326 views | Nthsuffolkblue | All correct. We are much improved to the degree that we are now matching the form of the teams we would need to catch. To catch them we need to be 8 points better than them over the rest of the season. It is a big ask. As I said before McKenna took over, on the current form of the top 6, if we won 10 on the trot we would still be outside the top six. All we can do is take care of our own results and hope that enough of the other teams slip up enough for us to benefit.

If we won 10 on the trot we’d be about 5th [Post edited 22 Jan 2022 22:22]

Our form needs to be considerably better than MK Dons, Oxford, Plymouth, Shef Wed and Portsmouth. if our form over the last six games, and the lack of form from 4 of those teams, continues fir the rest of the season then we take that sixth spot. Beat MK Dons and we may even have a chance at 5th. https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:league-one/form/matches:6/type:

Currently: 4th Wycombe P 28 have 52 pts 5th MK Dons P 27 have 46 pts 6th Oxford P 27 have 46 pts. At their current ppg over the season so far, after 10 more matches they would be: 4th Wycombe P 38 would have 71 pts 5th MK Dons P 37 would have 63 pts 6th Oxford P 37 would have 63 pts. We have 38 points currently. 10 wins on the trot from here would be 68 points so still only 5th (providing MK Dons and Oxford do not improve their form too). My point was 4 games ago so was correct at that time. The above is now if we won 13 out of 14 from that point as we have won 3 out of 4.

The interesting thing being that we're not catching up on 6th place particularly fast, but because of recent good form, the number of teams between us and there is thinning out. Which puts us in pole position for capitalising on any slip up by the teams in the play-off places.
