I went past a petrol station where it was 179.9 per litre for both petrol and diesel. Eye-watering. That was certainly an extreme, and I can't imagine they have much business. |  |

Although it’s expensive- it’s always weird that it costs less per litre than Coca Cola (despite being drilled, refined, transported and heavily taxed) which is mostly water.

I've kept an eye on this a few times in the last few days.
My tank was almost empty on Tuesday, but I didn't fill up until Wednesday afternoon - at Warren Heath Sainsburys. Tuesday diesel had been 150.9 there, I filled up for 153.9, yesterday it had gone up to 159.4, and I've just seen it's now been reported as being 164.9 today. [Post edited 11 Mar 2022 17:12]

I filled up my A3 which was half-full and it was £50. Around a couple years ago it was £70 to fill it up from empty. |
