...part of the City celebrations!!

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

He underperformed as a player so I don’t blame him for celebrating as a member of the back room staff.

Nah, sod him. Couldn’t give us another season and allowed his agent to act like a bell end. Then, years later goes on about being a big Town fan.

Wright has been a goalkeeping coach at Man City for the past 6 years. Why shouldn't he celebrate?

Think you misread my post. Where did I say he shouldn't celebrate!?

I'm a big fan of Richard Wright, and my son's a City fan.

Born in Manchester, so fair enough really.

Can’t blame him for showing sone ambition, regardless of how it panned out. He still played enough games to get a Premier League winners medal.

He wanted to push in for an England place. At Ipswich he saw the top English scorer in the Premier league not even get a call up for a friendly.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

But he also won an England cap and went to the European Championships while an Ipswich player, so it’s hardly as if the international door had been slammed in his face until he got a bigger move.

Whereas if he had been born in Surrey, it would have been United!
