Welcome to The Lee Rigby Foundation Charity website, Number 1166794, registered in England and Wales, which was founded by Lyn and Ian Rigby after the loss of their son, Fusilier Lee Rigby.

Lyn’s own experience and that of her family is compelling evidence of need for this project, and it is to help other families in the same situation that they formed the Lee Rigby Foundation.

Having found that there are a great many more families in similar need of such support, Lyn has become the driving force for the project

that ok with you?

Such a shame that the cause attracts such undesirables. What has nationalism got to do with The Lee Rigby Foundation?

at least those “undesirables” help swell the coffers…and if you feel their money isn’t welcome and you feel that strongly about it maybe you’d like to donate some dosh to the foundation…

Maybe they will put off people that would otherwise be interested in donating to a good cause?

I doubt they help to "swell the coffers" as much as you may think.

Income seems to be falling away - maybe Covid affected, but my charitable contributions went up significantly over the last couple of years ... only £20k raised in the y/e 2021 ignoring a government grant.

... and they don't appear to give much to the charity.

I wonder if they have a different agenda and don't give a flying one about the good cause?

In a full year? Not really, no. I've seen much greater sums raised by less "well-known" causes.

It suggests there's people associating themselves with Lee Rigby's family and memory for reasons other than contributing to the charity.

You can't do much "good" on £20k.

You didn't answer my question - how many were at the match?

You obviously have your reasons for swerving a straight question.

Each to their own, I suppose.

Ah, so I was a day out. Gotcha.

Let's hope Lee Rigby's mum finds some more generous supporters than you and your mates, eh?

How much have you donated to this good cause over the last couple of years when they've raised a total of about £70k?

Still, you got to wave the flag and sing the songs and stick it to "some on here".

"loads of dosh raised for a great cause" turns out not to be true, though, which rather changes the meaning of the get-together.
