Quiz of the day 13:03 - Jun 15 with 993 viewsSTYG

What do the following teams have in common?

Wycombe
Fleetwood
Doncaster
Gillingham*
Lincoln
MK Dons

It's a pretty tough one I think but the * may help slightly as an obscure clue.

Gillingham definitely did, twice in the 2000s.

Fleetwood definitely did a couple of years ago too, as it’s one of the worst games I’ve ever watched

Take your pick:
- Have never played in the Premiership
- Have never won the FA Cup
- Have never played in Europe
- Have a bigger trophy cabinet than Norwich

OK, the last one's a guess, but i bet the others are right!

I reckon a clue is needed.

It relates specifically to achievements over the last three years.

Nobody is near so far, so better go for the additional clue.

* relates to a COVID curtailed season.

Teams that have finished above us in League 1

Quite correct.

Depressingly, alongside Rotherham, Coventry, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Bolton, Pompey, Wigan, Oxford amongst others, rather depressingly these 6 clubs that should have no chance of competing with us with a competent manager and our finances, have all finished above us in the last three seasons.

* was on the basis we had more points than Gillingham but they were above us on PPG.
