Excuse my ignorance but 17:16 - Jul 18 with 1251 viewsGlasgowBlue

Why have people been putting “en” at the end of a sentence? Started seeing it a couple of years ago and now it’s all over Ipswich twitter.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

I believe it’s all from how Troy Farthing used to tweet.

I might be wrong but it seems like it was started by Troy.

Some people do it to take the piss. Others seem to do it to be friendly towards him.

Personally, it drives me insane.

Truly impaired.

Agreed, despite what he has done, he is a vulnerable adult and is influenced incredibly by the idiots who surround him.

As someone who has family who are autistic and are vulnerable, it boils my blood.

Right. I thought it was some sort of Suffolk dialect.

Not really the same thing though, one genuinely sounds like a Suffolk accent, the other is openly mocking a lad with autism.

It's never been any kind of Suffolk dialect that I know of.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Saw him Saturday at the train station before heading to Wimbledon, he was in full Cambridge gear clearly going to their game.

Hopefully stays out of trouble.

Very distinctive Ipswich accent. Extra vowels get added all over the place. Really stood out when I first moved here. Not common outside of Ipswich though.
