I was once stung by a wasp on my scrotum as I climbed over a stile whilst out jogging. Must have flown up my shorts! Still had 1.5 miles to home and did it in a painful Quasimodo style. My wife wet herself laughing and there was no offer to suck the sting out either. |  |

I can't remember having seen so many wasp nests in recent years. Stung twice so far. Plenty of horse and deer flies too but hardly any house flies whatsoever! |  |

Are house flies the ones that I call polygon flies (the little ones that draw polygons around the lampshade), or do you mean bluebottle/greenbottle thingies? Not seen many of the former, but a few of the latter. | |
