The tories can't continue treating key workers with contempt. Teachers next?

Imagine if Phil went on strike. That's when you really need to start worrying.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Wouldn't make any difference. Gav does all the work round here.

Mrs Chelters is a nurse, so I know lots of her nursey friends. I've never seen so much appetite to actually go out on strike. It'll start with low level stuff. Refusal of overtime, refusal to work with unsafe numbers, work to rule etc.

If nurses actually start taking their legal working breaks a lot of hospitals are going to start to struggle with numbers at times.

As some know, I'm a lecturer now and my Union, The UCU is balloting for national strike action next month, at my Uni, we've always voted no, but talking to lots of colleagues it looks like it'll go the other way. Lecturers aren't so much angry about the cost of living, but the shameless way we were exploited during the Covid lockdowns and since the return to teaching by the university exec.

I'll probably get pelters for this, but solidarity to you and Mrs Chelters.
You both deserve better from this shameless bunch of charlatans.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Why would you get criticism for supporting exploited hard working people? F**k the tories!
