The lad's a useful signing at that level.

He always was an exceptional finisher, and had he had Cristiano Ronaldo's physique would have been a very good Prem player.

Trundle was a player I always wanted us to sign.
Probably not quite championship level but as skillful as they come.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

It’s accurate, he was banging them in for Llanelli, but he’s finished now. A ridiculous amount of hat-tricks for them too. I think he may have scored a hat-trick for them on his debut. He scored one in injury time once.

He could do things on the pitch nobody else would think of- a bit like Le Tissier. He’s a cult hero down here and is often found in the middle of the Swansea fans at away games (as well as being part of the commentary team at home and a club ambassador).

He and Leon Britton joined a training session of my lad’s old team about 4 years ago (Britton was still playing for Swansea at the time). Britton was inclusive and was passing to the kids to get them all involved; Trundle was goal hanging, pushing 10 year olds off the ball and smashing it at the keeper from 6 yards 😂. Competitive would be an understatement!

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
