The defence has had their first big test tonight and struggled. With the amount of long balls Burgess would have been better option tonight.
Dont care what anyone says I do not see the love in for Fridge, great defender yes but not as great as many make him out to be. Wolf Fridge JD and Burgess nothing to choose between any of them. [Post edited 16 Aug 2022 20:51]

I think it's a poor decision, Burgess isn't very good. Hopefully be will prove me wrong but he really can't pass which was the criticism of Edmundson.

I don’t think our first choice defender being dropped is anything to be smug about. Just shows what kind of league we’re in when we have to drop a good defender in favour of an old school one who will potentially win aerial battles.
Let’s hope “Cam” doesn’t switch off leading to a goal, penalty or him getting sent off. | | | |
