But you know what, for the first time in a 'long, long' time - we have a squad that on paper and on the pitch is looking every bit capable of promotion.
If we don't do any business, I really don't think it would be the end of the world - the squad has excellent depth and the way KM has us setup there are goals throughout the squad.
Yes, more than happy if we can improve the squad but if we don't I'm really not too worried.

No. No Sonkos, Hawkins or any other last minute deadbeats please. I looked up the Sonkomeister. He signed 26th August, so was it a panic signing? Yeah probably. What is a certainty was that he was awful. Truly awful. 22 appearances and one goal. Whoopee.

TBF to Sonko we signed him after conceding 12 goals in two matches (and Jewell letting Delaney leave) and he did exactly what he needed to in the short-term - basic defending.
He had one disastrous match (at Leeds?) but really wasn't that bad for what he would have cost. Even without considering some of the other sh1te Jewell signed. |  |

I would like a striker to compete with Ladapo. If we could guarantee Ladapo stays fit it wouldn't be an issue but I would like one more.
Then again, you get the feeling the current set up could pull a rabbit out of the hat if needed even once the window closes. Some free agent everyone has forgotten about who could do a job for a month or two.
