As someone who is (rightfully) passionate about climate change, I'm surprised you'd support the greens. Their views on nuclear energy are way off imo and combined with their NIMBYist tendencies on HS2 and some housing projects, it seems depressingly similar to Tory short termism.



Being anti-Nuclear power is ultra-long-termism, not short-termism. It's refusing to create a problem with a several hundred year timespan to solve a present problem several hundred years in the making.

Green energy policy involves massive investment in renewables. Had they been elected 12 years ago we wouldn't be facing the cost of living crisis now, as our energy would be 100% produced and not at the mercy of global markets, or held to ransom by Putin.
