Rarer than the Giant Panda apparently. Not a lot of people know that .

Rather sad, but inevitable with little call for working horses these days. The following charity supports them. http://www.suffolkhorsesociety.org.uk/

There would be a good opportunity to showcase the charity/rareity of the breed in the Fanzone for one game. It's the sort of thing that would probably get some tv footage for one of our Sky fixtures i.e. get one of the horses at the ground!

I think that's an excellent idea.

The Brisbane Broncos used to have a real horse mascot called Buck. Not suggesting we do that because it's corny (typical Broncos!), but if we do I'll bags the droppings for me garden!

The great JT there as well for anybody who appreciates Rugby League deities.

Do they have any pandas?

They could also bring one of those.

That would definitely draw in a few people.

They're not as rare as you'd think, the big ones anyway.

In abundance apparently.

Do you know they have made their way to Scotland?

If that's not ambitious then I don't know what is.

Why? Is deep fried Giant Panda a delicacy?

Not entirely true. The Suffolk Punch is a horse and there are rather a lot of horses in the world.

If some Saxon Chinese guy in the east of China bred Giant Pandas to plough rice paddy fields a thousand years ago I suspect that breed of pandas might be rather scarce in the 21st century.

But mostly in order to wave banners proclaiming "Don't Pander to cruelty".
