So Brown has gone.

What a strange club. Me and the boy went to see them vs Carlisle (Holy) before I bought the season pass on iFollow for Town.

Wonderful set up there for a small club. The stadium is starting to look a bit tired in places and the attendance was absolutely pitiful, as usual.

They have all the foundations for being succesful and making a real push to move up the divisions, but it just seems like there is relucant acceptance of being at the right level. Player wise, Sam Hornby is good, Noel Chilvers is also good but seems to be buying into his own hype. Other than that it's pretty flat. Alan Judge is a busted flush. He's done.

Junior Tchamadeu however, looks a real player. Absolutely nullified Kyle Edwards in the Carabao Cup game on his debut.

I like Colchester, but it's a club that can't work out how to fulfil its potential. Weird.

Tchamadeu has played over 50 games for the club. It was the left back who was making his debut, Al-Amin Kazeem.

Col U's decision to sack John McGreal, which looked perverse at the time, has looked even worse as the years have gone on, although shortage of money has probably been the underlying issue. I think they've been losing around £2m a year. I do wonder why people continue funding these clubs, but if they didn't, they would slip further down the pyramid.
