Fractiousness 15:02 - Sep 21 with 4685 views | PhilTWTD | Can we have a bit less of it? Not sure why but the last few days have seen a lot of sniping from various quarters. No need for it, we're top of the league.

Fractiousness on 11:18 - Sep 22 by ArnoldMoorhen | But where does that end, and who decides? I didn't post during the Funeral, but the whole day? Why? Who says? I'm an adult, and I made my own choice. And it's really weird for the "utmost respect must be shown" police to be on a lower league football message board as a means of showing their respects. Telling people what they can and can't say. Checking up on others. All very East Germany under Honecker. Surely you can see an irony in that? For the record, I fully support the right of protest of the person silently holding a placard in Edinburgh, or the man who shouted out one sentence at a pompous civic ceremony in Oxford. The mourning Royal Family were not present in either case. I am supportive of the arrest of the young man who shouted abuse at Prince Andrew as he and the rest of the Royal Family followed the late Queen's coffin into St Giles Cathedral. Abusing people as they go into Funerals is incredibly shtty behaviour, and definitely a breach of the peace. And I don't think I have "slagged off" the Royal Family at all. Maybe Prince Andrew at times, if simply listing things he has done counts as "slagging off". I am vocally supportive of Prince Harry and Meghan, for example, which I hope will please all true royalists. |
Where does it end and who decides? Phil decides, it's his site. Where, more when, it ended at midnight Why? who says? It's the funeral of a 96yr old 70yr reigning Monarch that has been a mainstay in most if not all of our lives. 1 day surely isn't too much to rebel against is it? also see above for Phil says. Maybe you're not reading the room well when you say it's wierd for the utmost respect police to be on a lower league football message board, if you're getting this kind of feedback maybe?

I must have missed Phil making rules for the 19th September. Do you have a link to that?

I think the common decency of the vast majority on here was sufficient for him not to have to.

Indeed, so BSE claiming that he had done so and, by implication, that Moorhen had breached Phil's rules is not correct and denigrates Moorhen.
