A really good game 21:03 - Sep 25 with 1019 views | itfcsuth | for this level, a good advert of League 1 football. Of course we have come out on the wrong side of the result today, which you can’t have too many complaints about, it was a really close encounter. The pure negativity I’ve seen swirling around is truly ridiculous - and people have short memories of realising how much we have developed since Lambert & Cook at this level. Let’s take a step back, and look at 10 games in as a snapshot. 21 points, averaging 2.1ppg, will give us 96 points come the end of the season. We’ve played 4 of the top 6, 5 clean sheets kept so far and continuing to develop as a club/side all the time. So much to be positive about - looking forward to a big game next week, a full house and what should be a great atmosphere next week.

A really good game on 13:57 - Sep 28 with 625 views | SE1blue | Consistently beat the lower teams in this league and we will be fine. It's when we regularly don't beat those clubs that we need to worry.

A really good game on 14:04 - Sep 28 with 610 views | textbackup | Agree, really decent game, frustrating as I think they were there for the taking. They are a very good team, and a proper passionate fan base. Spoke with a lot of their fans, and a couple of players Sunday evening. All very much on a high at beating us (the team they think that will win the league)

I remember one season in the premier league, I think it was Liverpool did very well against the top teams, but kept losing/drawing to the "lesser" teams and eventually only came second (probably to Man utd?) I'm sure Torres was playing for Liverpool at the time. If we beat most of the lower teams and even draw vs a lot of the top ones, we'll be there or thereabouts come May!
