Interesting how it's always the Tory apologists insisting that everyone else is as bad as the incompetent, corrupt and bigoted criminals in charge and not anyone else.

This makes me so angry on 22:53 - Sep 27 by Ryorry | I'd think the same on some things, but given that Julian Smith actually spoke out against Truss & her Chancellor's economics yesterday, and lives in an AONB, I think he might even notice if I send him an email to (hopefully) send his inbox into meltdown in conjunction with the thousands of others landing there. |
My partner wrote to Syms a couple of weeks back about fracking and for once she got a reply, just a shame it was the stock Tory line about helping the economy and business etc without actually addressing her initial question, that’s my basis for not expecting anything from him on this subject

This makes me so angry on 20:35 - Sep 27 by Ely_Blue | No point in me writing to my local “toe the line Tory” MP here. The useless yes man that is Sir Robert Syms [Post edited 27 Sep 2022 20:40]

Me neither. My MP, a certain Laura Trott, is in for as long as she wants to be. Even if this garbage bin of a party is reduced to 50 seats, hers will be one of them. She couldn’t give a hoot about her constituents or the area in which they live. It’s why I favour PR - it’d mean I had a vote worthy of the name.
