Barcelona tickets 22:23 - Sep 29 with 2049 views | Baggio_is_magic | Hello, I don’t suppose anyone has any experience with buying Barcelona tickets online? They are playing Bayern in the UCL while we are over there next month and would love to get the game in. On the website, basic tickets are showing up as temporarily unavailable and you can sign up to be notified when they go on sale. I’ve seen mixed reports. Some suggest they are sold out while others say Barcelona don’t put home tickets up for sale until 3-4 weeks before. Anyone got any experience with buying them online?
Barcelona tickets on 22:32 - Sep 29 with 2024 views | allezlesbleus | I was in Barcelona around 10 years ago, when they played Bayern in the 1/4 final of the Champions League. I tried unsuccessfully for several weeks to buy online. Eventually turned up at the ticket office on the day of the game and purchased 2 tickets for my son and I, without any problems. They asked to see our passports to prove we weren't German. There have been more issues with disorder in Europe since covid, so I'm not sure if it will be as easy now.

Going back even further, twenty one years, that's what I did, turned up at the ticket office and bought a ticket perhaps only an hour and a half before the game (La Liga, Celta Vigo.) The stadium is huge, but it looked on its last legs back then.

Barcelona tickets on 06:42 - Sep 30 with 1814 views | Bluespeed225 | I went to to watch them against Celtic as it coincided with a mini break there. Bought tickets from our little hotel, left the ladies eating tapas, me and daughter’s boyfriend went off to the game. Seats right behind the goal, superb view, beers in your seat, but only 1 loo! Tip, if going to stadium on the tube, get your return ticket when you get there, huge bundle at ticket machine after. No bars near ground either that we could see, so Scots were hauling bags of booze from supermarkets.

I think a lot of Camp Nou seat owners don’t go to games (maybe UCL and biggest La Liga games are different), so they are more than happy for their ticket to be touted outside. Asking price was lower than online or ticket office prices - and I presume, haggling is an option. While there may be some scammers, the black market appeared to be huge so there has to be a genuine trade for it to continue. Be wary of weather and uncovered seats, or being an obvious tourist/mark. About 10! years ago I spent quite a lot of time in Barcelona, but due to work commitments and match schedules only managed to go to one game - also Celts Vigo. My hotel was a couple of Kms away so I just walked and even with the stadium half empty, the atmosphere before and afterwards was incredible. Should be on all footie fans bucket list!
Barcelona tickets on 08:11 - Sep 30 with 1715 views | TractorWood | I went to Barca vs Benfica about 10 years ago. It was the last group game of UCL and Barca were already through. I bought tickets on the official website about 3 weeks before the game and collected them at the stadium. They were very cheap and excellent seats. Bottom tier. Tbh it was empty enough that we could have sat anywhere within reason. Leave plenty of time before the game. It's enormous, obviously but also no signposts to work out which area to use etc. I'm sure you'll be able to get tickets. In my experience even fans of the big clubs aren't that bothered about going to games.

Barcelona tickets on 08:38 - Sep 30 with 1674 views | TractorCam | Went to Barca 5 years ago, it wasn't too many weeks before I got the tickets so they may not have gone on sale yet. My mate and I had to buy our tickets slightly apart, yet the ground was half empty in the end, so you may have a chance on the day like allez says if you don't get any beforehand.

Barcelona tickets on 08:54 - Sep 30 with 1652 views | BarcaBlue | I would sign up to be notified. There will be high demand so the cheapest (not cheap) tickets will go quickly but almost impossible that it'd be a sell-out. I would avoid relying on touts. As others have said, get to the ground early as it can take an age to walk around outside to find the right gate. There are bars close to the stadium, they're on the road parallel to the south.

My experience of a bar near the stadium was that it was understandably busy but getting a drink and a bite to eat was easy. It was an evening game and Espanol had being playing in the afternoon, the highlights were on the TV, a loss to an own goal so a big cheer went up in the bar. This was just a quarter of an hour before the game, anyway I turned back from the TV to finish my snack and a couple of minutes later I turned around and the bar was empty. Fortunately I had already scoped which entrance to use and knew where I was going but the endless climb up the stairs took some time, got to my seat about twenty seconds before kick -off. Rivaldo was playing for Barca and this was a year or so after his World Cup collapse at a corner flag after a ball was casually kicked at him, he was still being booed all the time by his own supporters. Celta had a Russian playing for them who fouled quite persistently so the white hankies were out and twirling, him getting sent off was the highlight of the match. [Post edited 30 Sep 2022 10:14]

Barcelona tickets on 09:27 - Sep 30 with 1598 views | Simonds92 | Went 3 or 4 years ago for a top of the table clash with Sevilla, unbelievable game almost like a basketball match. One thing we did find was that we bought 4 tickets which were consecutive numbers something like 112, 113, 114 & 115 but they were split and the odd numbers sat in one section together and the even numbers were sat together about 50 seats along.
Barcelona tickets on 09:35 - Sep 30 with 1582 views | CityBlue | If you are willing to take the risk of disappointment you could do what I do. I go to the venue and then open up a ticket reselling site and wait for the game about to start. The ticket prices are normally massively reduced in order to get some money rather than lose out totally. Used this in New Yor for hockey fixtures and got half price tickets in the end.....

I was living in Spain that long ago and the ticket office was a portacabin in the car park!

This was late November, early December 2001 and no portacabin. Window with grill in the stadium wall if I remember correctly, slightly reminiscent of the ticket office under the East Stand but no entrance and exit doors.

Barcelona tickets on 12:04 - Sep 30 with 1419 views | Nomore4 | My advise buy at the ground to avoid costs added. My last visit to Camp Nou it was 6.0. Neymer hatrick, Messi got 2. Xavi and Inesta pulling the strings in midfield. Feel lucky to have witnessed live, the greatest club side of all time.

We moved to Spain in summer 2001 and I went to my first Barca game early 2002 when I think some redevelopment work was being done. In my time over there Barca were absolutely awful. We left Spain in 2003 which was the summer Ronaldinho signed...

When I went, quite a few years ago, there was not a lot of home fan interest in CL fixtures, so there were ST holders outside with spare STs. We paid a young lad 30 Euros each to borrow his two spare STs. We went in together and handed him back his STs once inside. At the time a ST was only a couple of hundred Euros per season, and tourists were happy to pay about 30 Euros to get into the game. He explained afterwards that selling the STs for CL fixtures pretty much covered the cost of the ST, so they got their league games for free.
