…the Tory party are right wing?
Not good or bad or whatever in between; right wing specifically.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

Thanks Guthers. XYZ has a rather unhealthy obsession with me which tends to manifest itself in unsolicited abusive PMs in the early hours of the morning. So I have him on ignore and can’t read what he has posted.

"XYZ calls out my hypocrisy and I can't cope with that, so I put him on ignore and regularly tell the board and attempt to trash his reputation with invented accusations."

In spite of disagreeing with you on quite a lot of things politically, I can add my voice to confirm that you have been absolutely consistent in deploring racism in all forms, and have spoken up for refugees for years.

Thank you.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

This is largely wrong I’m afraid.
People still think Brexit is inherently right wing. Good luck telling for eg Mick Lynch he is right wing.
Privatisation is neoliberalism not right wing.
Nobody has lost the right to protest.
In many of your examples you conflate right wing with totalitarian so my friend I have some bad news for you about the history of the 20th century.

There were many different Brexits possible. The Mick Lynch Brexit would not have involved moves towards ripping up the Working Hours Directive, nor removal of the protections of the ECHR, which has been a strategic goal of the likes of Priti Patel and Suella Braverman.

The "Oven Ready" Johnson Deal is a Brexit designed to give us Freeports, removal of workers rights and Singapore on Thames. Authoritarian corporatism that makes the British citizen subservient to international capital. A particular kind of Late -Capitalist Right Wing economic model.
