Excellent. 14:00 - Nov 19 with 1088 views | FrimleyBlue | Chuffed to see Burgess was back in. It really showed imo how much it balances out our backline. Back in cleansheet. Morsy.. some excellent and quite un Morsy like balls today, really great to see. Humphreys Is the perfect understudy for him. Davis was solid. Still unsure of the harness Chaplin combo. Just something about it doesn't quite flow. Lovely 3 points away. Cleansheet and a much more organised performance imo. Didn't feel concerned at all today. Blip panic can be shelved for another week;) Coyb!

He did fine, but Exeter offered very little to be worried about. I hope you remember this match the next time we fail to win.

Personally I felt Burgess dealt with balls into the Box well and offered an easier pass option for Davis who didn't have to worry about burgess having to switch to the other foot, imo it just adds a much better balance across the backline. I wouldn't be surprised to see Burgess keep the shirt tbh.

Excellent. on 14:09 - Nov 19 with 976 views | clive_baker | The irony is it was a lesser performance than the last game but people won’t flounce because of the final score. We pummelled Cheltenham who largely parked the bus against us and we did everything but score a 2nd, 3rd, 4th. Today we played a side who had to show more intent on their own patch, and found 2 goals. Thought Burgess was excellent in the air especially, won some really important headers. Morsy we rarely bother mentioning now because we’ve come to expect such a high standard from him but he’s formidable. So strong, looks after the ball so well, breaks up play and showed some creative attacking intent today with the ball to Harness. He allows Humphreys to play who once again didn’t look out of place at all and kept the ball moving. Have to say I thought the game was very well refereed today, and it’s not often we’ve been able to say that. Overall a very good away performance, excellent to take 3 points and a clean sheet home. Puts us over the 40 point mark ahead of the FA Cup break. [Post edited 19 Nov 2022 14:12]

The referee was excellent, barely noticed him.

Excellent. on 18:44 - Nov 19 with 801 views | J2BLUE | Blip panic can be shelved for another week;) Not looking to start anything but it was clear we had worked on defensive issues and I think we limited them to one shot on target. There was no blip. Projecting into the future and saying if we lose to justify negativity is just silly. We have a good manager and very good squad. Plymouth have drawn their last three away games and surely they cannot maintain that home form over a season? The future is bright.

I'm thinking of contributing to the thread but thought I'd better check with you first.
