I fear it was a twist of his knee rather than an impact injury.

The physio let him limp off, which he struggled to do, which wouldn't be the case with a torn ligament, but it really didn't look good and he was clearly in pain.


It doesn't sound good from what McKenna has said either. Frustrating but time for others to step up. I get the reasons why the manager wanted a smaller squad, but this sudden spurt of injuries was always a risk. There will be some tired legs at Christmas. Hopefully Ladapo is alright.

Yes and it’s a £5000 fine. Would have thought that wouldn’t be an issue. Regretfully easy to say and criticise after the fact. Squad is stretched but lucky for us we have a transfer window opening soon and a CEO who’s already said we will not leave a stone unturned.

It might well be an issue for Gamechanger - not wanting an image of flouting rules, or lack of integrity, not wanting to sour relationships with the EFL etc. If so, that'd have been passed down to KM.
