I’ve never got to the bottom of this and am a collector and speak to lots of people who also do.
I assume that the players must bid for their own up to about £500 so they can donate a decent amount but if that is the case they’d have to register etc |  |

Shows as a bidder for the US, and it’s not the one he worn as it’s match issued not match worn. I’m guessing he kept the one he wore for the reason you say
