Dyer doesn't want to be our manager anymore 14:54 - Dec 2 with 4366 views | FrimleyBlue | Yes on one part he did deserve the chance. But also... it made sense a manager with actual experience took on the role. Didn't Mcgreal also bring in a coach who is now part of our first team set up?

Dyer doesn't want to be our manager anymore on 15:10 - Dec 2 by ITFC_Forever | If I am reading that correctly though, for KD there is one big piece of good news in that he is no longer on the liver transplant list? |
Is it that good news? Isn't it just that his need is less urgent than those ahead of him? I suppose in the sense that it is less urgent, it is good news but (unless I have completely misunderstood), he still needs the transplant just not as urgently as those who are on the current waiting list. I hope he is a lot better, and I am reading it wrong.

Dyer doesn't want to be our manager anymore on 17:13 - Dec 2 by Trequartista | What managerial experience did Kieran McKenna have? |
His high smarminess rating made experience unnecessary. Overall, I think McKenna's character and experience as a package trumps Dyer's and I am delighted with what he is offering. I would be even more delighted if Dyer was here and were being at least as successful, mind. However, we should not lose sight of the fact that many white footballers walk into a managerial job with Dyer's experience and very few non-white ones are given that opportunity. I hope that, in the long run, Dyer gets an opportunity, is highly successful and changes his mind about managing us and becomes a highly successful manager with us in the top flight. However, I won't hold my breath on that happening.

I am also not sure why the OP has been downvoted. My initial reaction on seeing that was Frimley has taken an extreme view on something said, but he has simply quoted what Watson has said. It is a statement of fact as sad as that may be.

Dyer doesn't want to be our manager anymore on 18:10 - Dec 2 with 663 views | bobbyramsey | McGreal ended up back at the U23’s, which I suspect is where Dyer would have ended up. Town would never have employed him as first team coach. And they definitely won’t now…….

Dyer doesn't want to be our manager anymore on 19:16 - Dec 2 with 599 views | jeera | Just echoing what others have already said really: Always had a lot of time for Dyer so am sad to see him continuing to put-down the club he says he loves. Grab any opportunity to get into management Kieron by all means, but this club doesn't owe you that appointment. With experience maybe he could return in the role one day instead of expecting it to be a hereditary thing. Really pleased to hear his liver is healing itself at last going by the positive results. It can be a long and frustrating process and it must have taken its toll on him.
