I had to pay over £10 for 4 litres of screen wash on the bloody M6 last week - I'm still recovering from that.

Just carry some mixed up in a container in your boot.

Plenty of countries have very large industries producing bottled water with a few bubbles in it, for a small fortune.

And wtf is coke other than coloured carbonated water with some sugar? Yet the world over we buy into the brand.

Marketing bollox is very much a global phenomena when you look into it.

What you say is true, but I still think there is no other country where the written media has such a large influence on the country as a whole. They demonstrate how gullible many people are, and others tap into this too. Take, for example, the five consecutive Christmas No.1s by LadBaby.

That sounds extortionate, but I've never used anything other than tap water.

£1.99 a bottle...we're in the wrong game.

And there was me thinking we had a cost of living crisis.

Call me cynical but them stocking a limited amount of this stuff just after Christmas when kids have money seems to be entirely by design. The only good thing is if it was limited to 3 bottles per person they might have saved some kids from themselves.

I suppose for some kids the social media pictures they will get out of standing in line, being in the store and then triumphantly holding their bottles will be well worth £6 for a few hundred likes.

Truly impaired.
