If Wolfie scores instead of crashes it against the crossbar, we go on to win 2 or 3 nil as Lincoln have to abandon the low block. 2. It was never a penalty in a month of Sundays. It's been said a million times, we can't play against the low block, we've just got no tactic to bypass it, there isn't enough height to do it with crosses.

But let's keep comforting ourselves with the same sort of excuses every other week.

Apart from the obvious excuse of sickness making it difficult to get a team out today?

If we can’t find ways to break down stubborn sides, we’re not going up. People have been saying it for a while - our failings aren’t being rectified. Now we’re all turning our attention to the transfer window for some signings to resolve the problem, which is incredibly short-sighted on all counts. I’m all for positivity but we’ve slipped out of the top two tonight because our own short-comings have become all too predictable. We’re no way near the point of KM bashing but for all the good things he did tonight in the way we set up and he donevtis season, we absolutely have to see something additional in the second half of the season if we’re to make top two.

Yeah. Apart from Davis it was our strongest squad (even if a couple might have been a bit off it). Also you didn't mention that in your OP. And how do you know that Lincoln haven't had a bit of illness going round too? It seems to be everywhere. [Post edited 2 Jan 2023 18:22]

Sadly, we lack that today. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

We need a solution to our inability to play against your low block, transfers or training ground. It is routinely taking points off us now
