I have to say I’d be surprised if Camara played again this season, and we already know Ball is out for the remainder.
Clearly Taylor is a long term top target of McKennas (see also Hirst), so I’m sure if we can get a deal agreed, they’ll still go for him, regardless of our other options. |  |

Don't think he's the type to force a move. Which explains why we've turned to Luongo in the short term. MacAnthony will know this summer is the last chance to turn a modest profit on Taylor.
P.S. Taylor also enjoyed a great relationship with Ferguson, so won't be too unhappy to spend the next 6 months under him. [Post edited 6 Jan 2023 8:49]

Feels like signing Luongo has strengthened our hand in signing Taylor, they now no longer know we are desperate for a 3rd senior CM so somewhat tilts the table in our favour and allows us to let it slide if we can't get the right price agreed. |
