Today was disappointing. I am gutted we did not get 3 points. It is absurd however to fall back on the trope that we all over the opposition but could not finish, or threw away a lead. It was a tight game, one all was entirely fair. We both had 3 or.4 decent chances. We both had purple patches. We both passed the ball around nicely at times . We both made silly mistakes at times (this is league one). Plymouth are good. As good as us, possibly slightly better organised.

Some days we are not good, some days we finish poorly, some days we throw the game away. Today was not any one of those things, we just met our match.

Peace out.

Considering the money spent, meeting our match with a team out together on a shoestring like Plymouth is not a positive.

League position doesn’t lie. Plymouth deserve to be there, shoestring or not.

Plymouth deserve to be there. But their success suggests a level of underachievement when it comes to our season so far.

But it's not over. We have the players to go on a winning run. Perhaps we're about to start one.

What about when we were spending on a shoestring budget in comparison to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool and Spurs yet finished Fifth in the Premier league. Maybe we need to give credit to their manager and players just as we appreciated Holland, Mowbray, Venus Stewart and George Burley’s management.

Isn't that the joy of football?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

And I'm sure their fanbases thought they were under-achieving compared to the respective budgets then too.
