Suella Braverman 18:31 - Jan 15 with 3715 views | DJR | Interesting to see the Home Office being used by Suella Braverman to shut down the views of a Holocaust survivor. How low can she get? This is an attempt to deflect the argument onto the fact that the whole of Braverman's response isn't included, when the real issue is that a Holocaust survivor objects to the language of "invasion", and Braverman isn't prepared to apologise for her use of those words. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/suella-braverman-home-office-home-secretar EDIT: the charity itself has also questioned the Home Office action, which as a former civil servant seems extraordinary to me as Braverman was speaking at a meeting in her constituency, and so presumably not in her official capacity. “I think that there are serious questions to answer....about whether it is appropriate for the Home Office to be using its corporate channels, including its Twitter channel, to be pressuring an NGO for sharing public comments that the Home Secretary has made”. Anyway the good thing is that the Holocaust survivor has not been silenced. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/holocaust-survivor-says-home-secretarys-wo [Post edited 15 Jan 2023 20:00]

You are always going to return to the fact that I didn't realise the training centre in Halesworth (that I rightly said no longer provided vocational education to 16-18 year-olds) is now run for further education of over 18s instead of answering any question. It is not a private joke, it is you avoiding the question like you did the last time you couldn't answer one.

Further education there is not just for over 18s, it is for 16+. If you think using the the K word is acceptable to describe a budget then thats your problem, remember how many people died this way during the very same war. I do not think that acceptable neither what Braverman said, but as I said before if you think its ok strange old world.

Suella Braverman on 21:26 - Jan 15 by gazzer1999 | Badger if you read what I said you would have noticed that 'None of them know how to conduct themselves' meaning none of them, get it? I am not supporting the Tories or Braverman, was pointing out the words that Starmer used, which I find offensive as did a lot of others. If however you think it is ok for the labour supporters to say offensive words and not get called out for it, then it is a strange world we live in. I believe in the NHS and would be prepared to pay more in N.I. if it helps, however most want more for less, trouble is keyboard warriors have never been in a position to run a business so have no real idea how finances work, reading and writing about it is not the same as actually doing it. Still as I said strange world we live in. |
Oh spare us the weaselly bothsidesing(and answer Phil's question) and the the feeble pazitudes about how you want to see better, safer healthcare when you spend your life on here defending the people whove spent over a decade actively working to make it worse. Oh, and don't start taking about 'keyboard warriors' either the you popped up deliberately tying to provoke a row. Oh, and the NHS isn't a business, it's a public service. Though, given that you're a bigotry corruption, criminality and incompetence party bootlicker I can see why you'd struggle with that. [Post edited 15 Jan 2023 22:33]

Can you explain why the term 'kamikaze'( a colloquial term for suicidal or wildly destructive actsp perpetrated by barinwashed fanatics) is as offensive as actively employing nazi rhetoric(which could be argued has led to acts of terror directed at refugees and refugee centres) when talking about vulnerable refugees? I've asked this, so has Phil, so has Nsuff. A man as keen on further education as yourself should be able to explain it eloquently to us simpletons, and not not at all try diverting the subject or weaselling out of it, I'm sure. Still trying to argue a completely different subject (EDIT: it should have been 14-16 that the provision was taken away for not 16-18 - my mistake; but as I say, this is an attempt to deflect from this thread anyway). How do you think the use of the term Kamikaze (yes pilots used this suicide tactic to kill people in the war) is equivalent to using deliberately demonising language in the way that the Nazis did in the lead up to the Second World War? You are still avoiding the question simply by saying you don't think the term Kamikaze is a term that should be used. [Post edited 15 Jan 2023 22:51]

Nice one Badger I really think you have excelled yourself tonight with your language, just hope you don't use it at work. You really make the most awful judgements of characters don't you? Harry and you seem you have a mission to use that type of language every time I come onto this forum, I will remind you what you signed up to on this forum "Please respect your fellow posters and refrain from name calling and personal abuse". You seem to have a charmed existence on here. Oh well I guess thats me done on here then.

Your modus operandum is consistent. Will you answer the question or simply continue to engage in anything but answering it?

Perhaps I'll wait for matt halfcock's successor to turn up on my doorstep in the next General Election campaign. And, as I'll never tire of pointing out, she's Sue-Ellen Braverman.
