I don't think the money side is the issue with us (especially with the Downes payment as well). It's more trying to convince him to come here. |  |

i wonder if it's purely the Plymouth being a rival for the top 2 that's mostly holding him back wanting to come here?
I suspect he will get offers in better leagues because of his performances but IMO we aren't a bad club to join. |  | | |

We've been after him for sometime and we wouldn't have held an interest in him if we didn't think he'd want to join.
