If anybody fancies a go at a non-football quiz, I have put this one together. There are seven minutes to try and name all the places in Suffolk which are considered to be towns. Two of them gained town councils in the last 25 years (specifically January 2000 and August 2011) and so are included in the list, and a couple of historic towns are shown but greyed out. There are one or two places that may be larger in population than some on the list but they are not towns. Full names are required and there are three towns with names that contain more than one word.

Doubled ? Surely quadrupled in population if not size ... old farmer Jolly’s grange farm innit .
Odder still is how in the u.s.a tiny village like population settlements are called cities
You may be right. It was only a guess when I said "more than doubled". We moved just before Grange Farm was started and I have only been on that estate a few times since. It seems to be forever expanding.
