He looked all over the place in that innings last night, no trace of skill, technique, & confidence at all. His continued selection is bizarre. Johnny has to come into the team at his expense. Hazlewood, Starc, & Cummins will be all over him. Easy pickings. Ben Duckett however really looks to have grabbed his chance, averaging 41.

Crawley keeps making a habit of getting a score in the final test or the final innings of a series and that persuades the selectors to keep him in. McCullum definitely likes something about him and I really wish he could knuckle down and prove his worth, but he lacks concentration and focus, and often looks totally all at sea, especially if it's seaming. He is probably the third best opener at Kent at the moment, never mind for England in truth.

NZ V England here on 20:23 - Feb 27 by HARRY10 | Whats the odds of England being bowled out ? Either way it has been four good days cricket, played in a county game atmosphere. Only downside is the irritating NZ accent when commentating, whereby the letter E is pronounced through a blocked up nose so sounding like a squeaking noise |

It seems that it takes one of our own to get Harry Brook out. Comical.

I think these two will bat it out from here. Maximum 1 more wicket to fall today.

That's what my rational side is saying. A mad hour or so which is not uncommon first session. Ball is turning a bit but thankfully they have Bracewell rather than that guy who took a 10 for in India last winter.

A cracking game of Cricket you have to say At 80 - 5 England were dead in the water but then after Root and Stoke's heroics, should really have got home Foakes did a cracking job and gave us a chance, he'll be the most gutted in that changing room right now, he deserved to get us over the line really Jimmy's 4 was genius but the tickle to the keeper a tame end sadly We have a very flimsy tail, it really needs some toughening up Broad is capable of far more than this cowardly backing away lark, I'd be interested to know how many he balls he faces in the nets nowadays. He has a cracking eye and a far better technique than he now seems to show. Robinson is similar, he should be capable of more than he has shown in an England shirt thus far. Yep, I wasn't expecting to wake up to that. Went to bed when Root and Stokes were cruising. Test cricket!

That Brooks run-out was really costly in the end. I expect we would've cruised to the win without that!

Think Foakes should've trusted Jack Leach more, but also think Leach lost the match with his unforgivable habit of bowling front foot no balls!!!
