March points prediction 08:15 - Feb 26 with 1652 views | PioneerBlue | 3 home games, 2 away games. This is the business end of the season. Maintaining an unbeaten run would really set things up but I would take a narrow loss away versus a point if it means winning all others. I’m going positive, 4 wins, 12 points. 9 points will only keep us in the hunt 13 and we are rocking into April! Let’s do this. [Post edited 26 Feb 2023 8:47]

I wasn’t feeling confident about the Bolton and Barnsley games either. BUT as someone pointed out the other day which kind of got lost amongst all the disappointment of our draws. We don’t LOSE many. I think we take a point each from those. Sheff Weds are a superior team in every way and we are unbeaten by them.

You make a very good point. We are hard to beat. I’d add that we were hardly played off the pitch by Bolton and Barnsley at home. In fact both were happy to scuttle off with a point. I doubt these sides will set themselves up as the away team at home as sides often have to against us and that might well give us opportunities. My prediction is a win and a loss against those two, a surprise draw from one of the home games and a total of 10 points. Sorted.

One game at a time. We need a big performance on Saturday & if we can win it puts real pressure on Plymouth if the fail to beat Barnsley. We just need to keep performing and grinding out results. We have a really strong squad to utilise too, which a number of others simply don’t have. Saturday is really a big day, as it could see us right behind Plymouth and well clear of the other play off contenders. COYB | | | | Login to get fewer ads
March points prediction on 10:17 - Mar 9 with 1017 views | CityBlue | Looking at the detailed stats for this Saturday, Bolton have never lost a lead when at home so the key is to get an early goal. This could have a nil nil draw written all over it but I think we can look to complete. Will be interested in the quality of the playing surface as we would prefer a better field.

4 games 12 points in the end. With the game postponed it doesn’t quite allow us to rock into April but the points accumulation over those games is all that counts. April is a huge month, we’ve had very few April’s that mean this much over the last 20 years! A few playoff near misses and a relegation. This time can be different.

Don’t think the April in the relegation season meant much…weren’t we officially down by the first weekend?
