Could it possibly be that we are timing it to perfection? 19:48 - Mar 4 with 4974 views | LegendofthePhoenix | With the January signings, and seeing Clarke develop a real understanding with Wes on the right, Luongo looking like he is fully fit and bossing midfield, Broadhead looking like he will score every game, Chappers now on 19 goals, Freddie playing the best he has been in a Town shirt..... We even have Panutche and Ball coming back from injury. maybe this time, we are hitting top gear at just the right time? I think Plymouth should be getting worried.

Could it possibly be that we are timing it to perfection? on 13:28 - Mar 5 by Dyland | Your first sentence is a bit hyperbolic but I agree with the general point(ofblue) :) And yeh, I like that attitude. When Albion kept getting corners and long throws in the second half yesterday, and we struggled to clear the ball... imagine that if score was 0-0 or 1-0...! As I say, it doesn't fill me with confidence but I suppose the deal is that we will upgrade defenders if/when necessary... |
It could be that the biggest impact of our current style of defending is the potential number of extra calls made on medical services in & around Ipswich & Suffolk ;)

Could it possibly be that we are timing it to perfection? on 13:36 - Mar 5 by Herbivore | Burton came into the game yesterday on a very good run of form, four wins in six and six wins in ten. They'd been scoring goals as well. The defence had to do a decent amount of defending yesterday and they did the vast majority of it well, that was a good clean sheet yesterday. |

Could it possibly be that we are timing it to perfection? on 07:28 - Mar 5 by LegendofthePhoenix | One thing that works in our favour - in Playoffs, you have to attack. And we're at our best when teams try to play football against us. Whilst Playoffs are probably more likely, Plymouth's next 2 games are home to Derby and away to Barnsley. They have hit their rockiest patch of the season and are without Cooper. We have hit , in my opinion, our top gear at last. It could look different in a week. |
Why do you have to attack in the play-offs? Plenty of teams have won play-off encounters based on a solid defence.

Could it possibly be that we are timing it to perfection? on 08:53 - Mar 5 by tractorboy1978 | I think the next two games are big. You'd expect them to drop some points against Derby and/or Barnsley. I'd agree their run in looks kinder than ours but there's still a few potential toughies in there - a derby against Exeter, trip to Bolton, trip to Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers/Lincoln will make it hard for them. I wouldn't call it straight forward. |
We've already played Bolton, 0-0
