In which games have we settled for a draw? Most of our draws have involved either us conceding or scoring late equalisers. |
It was an observation to the League in general, not specific to us, but certainly a thought derived from seeing that we have lost the least amount of games in the league (having pretty much played the same number of games as everyone else) but are still “only” in 3rd place.
The mind plays tricks when you see that sort of stat, one might assume, upon casual assessment, that the team with least losses is likely to be at the top of the league, but the reality is somewhat different. |  |

Maybe, I am a bit odd tbf. Was just my brain struggling to come to terms with being in 3rd having what seemed at first glance, to be a superior record to other teams. I imagine I generally gauge a decent result as one we don’t lose, but in terms of the league, the table seems to suggest that more losses are not an issue, as long as you win a healthy amount, draws look like the stat that kills you. | |

Yep, it’s very frustrating when you look at the table, see that we’ve lost less games than anyone else, but are still 3rd. It really is all about winning games, you’d be better off taking a gamble and going for a win by all costs in close games, rather than settling for a draw. |
I think our bench (1 defender, 4 attackers) every game, tells us all we need to know about what KM thinks about settling for a draw! |  |

You’ll be pleased to hear that my son plays in the Norwich FC academy (was at ITFC, but it went massively downhill under ME) so there are some links, but I’m most definitely an ITFC fan and always have been, to the extent that I refused to let my son wear yellow and green kit at training and bought him a couple of sets of plain black Nike training clothing, lol. The coaches didn’t mind, most don’t support Naarwich either. | |
