I am not quite sure why this has turned into a 3 pager, but I thought the most significant thing was that Charles appears to be being used, post Brexit, to improve relations with countries such as Germany.
I can't remember the Queen ever being used in such a political way, and perhaps it calls in to question why Charles should be prevented from pursuing his perhaps less political interests, such as concern for the environment. |  | | |

I am no supporter of Charles or the monarchy, but he has apparently had to rein in some of things he was able to do when he was not the monarch, and it was this that my post was getting at, not whether Charles is a hypocrite.
