Starting those games a while back

What was that all about?

Seems a distant memory, thank God 🙏

Just to reiterate, the OP is asking why Keogh started against Morecambe and Cambridge, rather than why did we sign him in the first place.

He started 3 games in the league. 2 wins and 1 draw.

Lost at Wycombe when he started as Woolfenden was injured.

His whole signing was a weird one.

Perfectly logical signing. To say otherwise is to assume that all footballers do is the 90mins on a Saturday/Tues. And even then it's not a weird one.

He's featured in what 16 games? That's straight away load taken off others. I'm pretty sure he's there at all the games. He's setting examples in training, involved in coaching and is well known to be a really good sounding board as well to players and coaches.

He offers us really good cover as well.

I actually think it has been a excellent signing Wolfie has come on leaps and bounds this season and showing the promise we saw when younger.
Burgess is no longer just a clogger as some people saw him and should be proud of his performances even after a nasty injury.
Only one not to really improve has been Edmondson maybe he had reached his ceiling maybe injuries who knows.
I'm sure Keogh and Aluko have been really important in the dressing room and in training.

Makes you wonder, also, what kind of work is being put into the youth players by the likes of Keogh...Think we definitely signed at least one young center back in January....
Regardless, someone with Keoghs knowledge and experience, is absolutely , a valuable asset to have around the club.... (And let's not forget, he's one of our own, spent time here as a youngen)...Be fantastic for him to be part of a promotion with us, in the twilight of his playing career...Fingers crossed.

I'd forgotten about that game.

All the same, it's an odd post to make slagging off one of our players during a period of time where we are doing exceptionally well.

Some people like to moan for the sake of it.

I'm not sure I really understand the need for this thread.
It seems about 2 months too late.
That's when threads like this were fairly common.
It's very clear that Keogh is a model professional and is a boost to the squad. He always travels with the team and could be seen most recently at the start of the Derby Town in 5 clip.
It just seems so out of kilter to dig out a player for no apparent reason, when pretty much everything around the club is so positive.
Each to their own I guess.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

He didnt get found out at all...We already know he lacks pace.. We went gung ho second half to try and force a win and left him totally exposed to their counter attack..Had Woolfy been fit that day, he most likely would have been the preferred "last man"..
There's nothing to find out about Keogh. He's been around long enough for people to know his strengths and weaknesses, as a player..
