I guess it all depends on how close their manager and coaching staff thought he was to their first team. I got the impression they were probably trying to sign someone and, had they done so, they would have loaned him out. However, the rapidity with which he got first team action and the success he had with it made me wonder whether it was never really a realistic option anyway. | |

Although saying that, no guarantee he would’ve made it here in a different team / different style even at a lower level, so be coukd be on a completely different trajectory right now if he’d have come here!
