Until I watched this sky sports rivalry program. Shows the earnings disparity between 90s and now. A legend.

Agreed on both points.

It's great to hear him on co-commentary on Radio Suffolk, and at least for the last couple of years he's had something to cheer about.

In case you missed it, he's featured on the following recent Kings of Anglia podcast.

There's an elderly maintenance engineer in that sorting office who wanders around with a can of oil, perpetually puzzled about which bit of equipment is making all the squeaky noises between about three o'clock and five o'clock on a Saturday.

Love Mathie, as does any Town fan who was there that day. And Bobby P.

His love for Town is so obvious as well. I know he made more appearances for us than anyone else but that was only over just three years of his life, having been on the books of Newcastle and coming from Scotland prior to that, and he clearly now lives up North.

He totally loses it when we score on RS. Brilliant to hear.

Honourable mention to Gus Uhlenbeek - past one man, out runs someone else, gets to the byline with Mathie etc waiting for his cross. Cross goes straight into the North Stand. Memories.
