Depends a bit what you mean by a 'better season'. I'm pretty sure when/if promotion arrives it will be a highpoint of everybody's career to date, because of the huge crowds and rocking atmosphere.
But Walton did play a full season when Blackburn finished 11th in the Championship. If Town did that next season it's a moot point whether people would say that represents a 'high' compared with this season. |  | | |
