If you choose to go on the pitch and deny everyone else the post match celebration then you're a selfish p****k

In the end, a few went on, came off pretty quickly. You can see from pics shared on Twitter that Morsy loved being carried shoulder high by fans. Then we got the lap of honour.

Also, for the people who said Blue Action shouldn't have organised the welcome for the coach, Chaplin said in his post-match quotes that it gave the players extra motivation.

We're up. That's all that matters.

Also - I didn't care about this post 45 minutes later than my post let alone a day later.

Did look very much like the club did what they needed to do to seem to care whilst clearly not being too bothered (apart from one steward who didn't get that message but I can't find that tweet video now)

Yeah that's what I thought, they wanted to be seen to be doing the right thing by the EFL. The way the police went across the north and then congregated in the corner leaving the whole stand open said to me they weren't to fussed about stopping it.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I do apologise for discussing events a day later but I was rather busy yesterday.

People are still clutching their pearls today about the pitch invasion. Some were calling for lengthy bans for fellow supporters yesterday so we have every right to call people out. I think that was disgraceful and got pelters for saying a pitch invasion wouldn't be a problem, the lap of honour would still happen etc. I'm just exercising my right to reply having been proved to be correct.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I'm in SBRL and thought it was also telling that the police had the photographers leave a couple of minutes before the final whistle to get them out the way. Imagine it went just as planned.

That's a common sense precaution.

I have no idea why we're still talking about this. If only we had something else to talk about, something positive. Can anyone think of anything?

Honestly, I don't care at all today but I'm sat on a hammock rocking backwards and forwards to keep the baby asleep so have nothing better to do than reply.

Also, I've posted a positive thread as well - is that acceptable?

Never went as far as that tbf - don't want any fans banned.

I get annoyed at people who sit where they want at away games when it's allocated seats. I don't want them banned - my view on this is exactly the same.

Have to admit to feeling a bit for anyone on here who has had a ban for entering the pitch though - I'd have their bans overturned too if possible

Me too. Also, the ref blew up when the teams were nearest the tunnel. Might be a coincidence that one, but that would be the obvious place to blow if there was going to be a pitch invasion.

Didn't actually mean to reply to your comment, was just a general view.

I don't see any reason for this thread to have been bumped really.

My take on pitch invasions is this: I think that the people that are really keen to be a part of them think it is all about them as an individual, when really it is all about us as a collective. This evidenced by the number of people filming themselves and showboating to the crowd.

With regards to what I think of pitch invaders? I don't really care, I was never going to invade but I don't want them banned and I didn't boo either, I just think it's a bit self-involved to think it is an essential part of the day. Also while I am thrilled that it went off safely, I do agree with the EFL that the pitch is for the players. It only takes one maniac to ruin it for everyone.

You seem to have your tin foil hat on a bit too tight this morning!
