It’s a first step isn’t it.
Getting out of League One is hard as ourselves, Sunderland, Leeds, Sheffield Utd, Wednesday, Derby, Forest, Southampton etc will testify.
Yes, a runners up medal seems tinpot half of nothing - neither winning the division or the glory of Wembley play off win. But I’ll take that all day long to get out of League One. The thought of the playoffs and failing was unthinkable.
