I was at Carrow Road today 18:52 - May 8 with 7080 views | clive_baker | Don’t worry, it was a complimentary ticket, I haven’t been lining their coffers. Gibbs looked completely lost, utterly ineffective. Their fans are beyond poor. The lack of atmosphere was genuinely shocking to me, perhaps PR sets an higher bar nowadays than I give it credit for but I can’t remember the last time I saw an atmosphere as bad as that anywhere. Other than the applause for Pukki there was nothing, they seemed so passive, not even passionately negative, just nothing. A general apathy towards it all. They tried to play football between both boxes but they looked so toothless in the final 3rd, against mediocre opposition today. Possession without purpose, laboured phases of play. I hope they don’t get their sh1t together over the summer because on that evidence they’re so vanilla. We’ll slap them next season.

My favourite budgie thread recently.... on 19:38 - May 8 by Bloots | ....was one where they started ripping into us for having an open top bus parade to celebrate finishing second. "That's so tinpot" " What a bunch of losers" "Probably get another star as well" etc, etc. After a few posts someone pointed out that we weren't having an open top bus parade. Then a few posts later someone pointed out that they actually did have one for finishing second. .....they shut up after that. Funny. [Post edited 8 May 2023 19:38]

Norwich fans, bless their cotton socks don't even really understand the tragic irony of their star jibe, they seem to suggest we give stars out for anything when they simply represent actual major trophies we have won as a club, which we should rightly be proud of They on the other hand have had a literal 25 year anniversary match for getting knocked out in the UEFA Cup 3rd round, list being in the UEFA Cup as a participant as a major honour in their programme and once held a bus parade round Norwich for getting knocked out of some FA Cup semis, to celebrate their 'famous' cup runs They may have been better than us, ever since Lambert came in but they haven't exactly torn the Premier League a new one, in this spell of 'dominance'

They also had a 50th anniversary celebration for getting to the FA Cup Semi-Finals. They like to have a go at us for going on about our history but their over-the-top celebrations, for what they amusing have for their history, are second to none.

Realised that I went to uni with him and said as much. Got this DM from him He's really doubling down, although if what he says is true about the messages about his kids then he's right, that's not on.

This has always amused me too. It's akin to a the psychological phenomena of transference, hypocrisy with the added edge of false accusation. They draw attention to their own inadequacies by falsely pointing out phantom inadequacies in others. Weirdos.
