After todays results thought it’s Leicester and Leeds unfortunately.

Where's the 'your mum' option?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Given the state of Leicester's finances, we might be able to score Hirst in the ensuing fire sale.

If Derby were still in the Championship they would totally be trying to sign Vardy.

probably Leeds Leicester and Southampton

would like Everton - wonder if they have points deducted next year if found guilty of financial irregularities - might kill a top 6 finish

Would like Leeds - Thought of Fat Sam getting 3 million for a months "work"

Would like Leicester - May get better bargaining for Hirst

Still 2/3 aint bad

Everton will unfortunately stay up on 36 points. They truly have been awful for the last couple of seasons - wonder whether their luck will evaporate next season.

there was thinking at Town after the 93/94 season, that actually just avoiding relegation on the last day of the season was the worst thing that had happened (at that point given whats happened since) to the club, because the team largely just carried on in the same style the next season, only worser, and of course we got hammered and it led to the kind of major rebuilding of the club/team etc that would be unaffordable in todays climate at least, even with gamechanger backing us.

So the consequence for Everton staying up in this way, unless they really take this as a warning of whats to come and really rebuild their team, their methods, their tactics, is the fall will be so much harder next season, doubly so because their new stadium then becomes the deadweight around them like it has been for Arsenal and Tottenham
